Hey all, I've just returned to NYC and it seems as if I'm turning right around to another adventure. Evita and I just completed an elementary school residency in Albany teaching the Big Apple and the Shim Sham to K-5th grade students. They were an amazing, enthusiastic and talented bunch and we look forward to joining them again later in the spring. It's amazing what positive effects partner dancing can have on people, including listening, socializing and leadership skills...really, life skills.
In other news, Ms. Arce and I performed our "Singin' In The Rain" number at the 2010 LoneStar Championships in Austin, TX this past weekend. The entire weekend was chalked full of entertaining performances, great social dancing and AMAZING competitions. YouTube will provide visual and audio validation to my my brilliant text.
